Fast and Easy ways to Send Files
We offer two methods to transfer your printer files. If your files are 30MB or less, you can simply email files to:
jcprep@jcpub.com. For larger files, you can upload files to our FTP site.
Tips:
Some email systems may not allow you to send a 30MB email so check with your systems support person. To ensure your files do not become corrupted during the email or transfer process, please use compression softwareon your files. Your files will also transfer faster. Please include a PDF as well. We use this in checking your files to compare the output for type flow and image positioning before a proof is run out. It is not necessary to compress the PDF. Please let your customer service representative know via telephone or email that you will be sending files. She can then notify our Prep Department to be checking for them.
FTP Instructions
If you don't already have an FTP program for file transfers, simply choose one on the Internet. There are many low cost or even free programs you can choose from. Once you have selected an FTP program to work with, you are ready to begin.
To set up the connection, you will be asked for the Host Name/Address, User/ID, and Password, which we have listed below.
Host: ftp.jcpub.com
Login: jcpftp
Password: JCP!04ftp
If you are planning on sending a very large file, we suggest you contact us in advance to verify there is enough space available.
